Spring Clean Your Way To A Workout Routine

Spring has sprung and it’s time to put away those heavy coats (hopefully), say goodbye to snow, and welcome blooms and beautiful weather.  Spring has a way of energizing and inspiring us to dust ourselves off, clean up our act, and get ready for swimsuit season.  Never fear–here is are some tips to help you get in shape while getting your clean on!

Start in your refrigerator. Get rid of those heavy winter foods, leftovers, and comfort food and opt for the lighter, healthier options that can be found in your local produce aisle.

Gear up! Locate all of your favorite at-home fitness gear, bikes, jumpropes, rollerblades, etc and put it in a place that’s readily visible to remind you to get up and moving.

Out with the old. Remember all the fitness equipment you bought and didn’t like (or it just doesn’t jive with your lifestyle)?  Give it away or share/swap with a friend.  You should only make space for things you love so that you avoid clutter.  One man’s trash….

Make a plan. Write it down.  Know your goals so that you’ll know you’ve been successful when you get there ;)

What are your goals this spring?  Do you have any tips to share?  Let us know in the comments!
